Donate for Underprivileged Children

SERUDS (Sai Educational Rural & Urban Development Society) is a registered charitable trust founded in 2003 in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. As a dedicated NGO for children, we work tirelessly to support and uplift underprivileged kids – including street children, orphans, and those from economically weaker or socially disadvantaged families

Our Mission for Children’s Welfare

Our child welfare programs are designed to provide care, education, and emotional support. SERUDS aims to break the cycle of poverty through long-term support and opportunities for children to thrive

Key Programs for Children at SERUDS

  • Joy Home Orphanage: A loving home for 60 orphaned and abandoned children, offering shelter, healthy food, medical care, and quality education.
  • Daycare Centers for Children: We run 3 crèches that care for toddlers and young children of daily wage laborers. These centers provide a safe, nurturing environment with meals, hygiene, and learning activities.
  • Education Sponsorship: We identify talented students from low-income families and sponsor their schooling in reputable private schools, covering tuition, uniforms, and study materials.
  • Education Kits for Girls: To promote education among slum-dwelling girls, we distribute school supply kits to over 500 students (Classes V–X) in government schools each year.

Why Your Support Matters

Children from economically disadvantaged families in India face a myriad of challenges, including:

  • Malnutrition
  • High dropout rates from school
  • Involvement in street life and petty crime
  • Exploitation through child labor
  • Early marriage and its associated health risks
  • Abuse and substance misuse
  • Illness, leading to alarming mortality rates

By sponsoring a child, you’re giving them the tools and hope for a brighter future.
