SERUDS NGO Helps Elderly in India
SERUDS is a not-for-profit organization in Kurnool, India, registered in 2003 under the A.P. Societies Registration Act, 35 of 2001. SERUDS NGO is dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged older persons through healthcare, livelihood, disaster response, and awareness initiatives. The organization advocates strongly for the rights of the elderly and envisions a society where they can lead active, healthy, and dignified lives.
In the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, SERUDS runs several impactful programs aimed at addressing the needs of underprivileged elderly people:
Our Projects for Destitute Elders
We reach out to destitute elderly people and help them to overcome poverty; in times of natural calamities such as during floods we rescue the very old and very young people, who are the most vulnerable.

Old Age Home
Contribute ₹3500 (US $43) to sponsor one elderly person at the Happy Old Age Home for one month
Sponsor Free Groceries for Elders
With just ₹3200 per month, you can sponsor a destitute elderly woman and help her live with dignity.
Midday Meals for Destitute Elders
A contribution of only ₹3500 will provide hot and nutritious meals to 30 elders.

They are sheltered in a free Old Age Home for Elderly Ladies, Poor Old People are fed under Midday Meal Scheme, and abandoned old women are given monthly rations.
