Story:
She led her entire life in Basavani system as part of their traditional customs. Basavani is forced prostitution of Dalit girls from a very young age by the community.
Currently deserted and living in a small hut. Sons used to work as construction workers and after their marriage went to other cities leaving her alone. She is currently suffering from ill health. She needs love, care and proper support to lead the rest of life with minimum.
Impact:
Seruds is supporting her with hygienic and nutritious food daily consisting of steam cooked rice, dal, sambar, vegetable curry, curd and seasonal fruits.
