Description
Sreelakshmi’s mother attempted suicide because of disputes with her alcoholic husband and harassment  by her in-laws. Her father is addicted to alcohol is a lorry driver. He comes home once in a month and does not provide for their daily needs. Mother has 4 daughters and her head was severely injured due to beating by her husband. Due to ill-health she is not able to earn enough to feed the family.
She heard about the Joy Home Children orphanage in Kurnool and got Sreelakshmi admitted. Now Sreelakshmi is very happy getting timely food, good education, recreation facilities, medical care, and a safe home. She is interested in sports, games and studies. She dreams of becoming an engineer.
