Educate Girl Child Project
Seruds Project to “Educate Girl Child” was launched in 2010. This project will allow children to be bold to study well, self-reliant to achieve goals in their bright future.
Additionally, project mainly concentrates on Girl Child Education and Enrollment in schools. It provides bright future for all the deprived children.
These impoverished girls will be saved from child marriage, trafficking, and being forced to work as domestic servants.
Sponsor a Girl's Education
You can sponsor the education of a an underprivileged girl for Rs 2000 for one month or Rs 24,000 for one year. Your donation is given directly to the home girl’s parents, and is used for school and tuition fees, books, supplies and clothing.

Facts You Should Know about Girl Child Education in India
In India, nearly 40% of adolescent girls in the age group of 15-18 years are not attending school.
Around 30 percent of Girls from poorest families have never stepped inside the classroom and school surroundings.
India needs to spend 6% of its gross domestic product (GDP) on education, every national education policy (NEP) since 1968 has said.
In 2019-20, India spent only 3.1% of its GDP on education, the 2019-20 Economic Survey showed. India ranks 62nd in total public expenditure on education per student.

Save the Girl Child Project
The child sex ratio (0–6 years) in India of number of girls per 1,000 boys has been declining since 2001. It has declined from 927 girls for every 1,000 boys to 918 in 2011. The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme was launched in 2015 to address this issue and help the girl child. It includes programs to promote “Save Girl Child” and “to Educate Girl Child”.
Seruds Project to “Educate Girl Child” was launched in 2010. This project will allow children to be bold to study well, self-reliant to achieve goals in their bright future. Our goal is to improve access & quality of education for 500 children through enrolment of deprived children in schools & regular attendance, provide uniforms, shoes, school supplies & educational material. Additionally, project mainly concentrates on Girl Child Education and Enrolment in schools. It provides bright future for all the deprived children.
The project will provide an excellent education and opportunities to these 500 underprivileged children for holistic growth and development, which will put them on the path toward breaking the pervasive cycle of poverty in their slum communities and a good career. These impoverished girls will be saved from child marriage, trafficking, and being forced to work as domestic servants.
Seruds Orphanage for Girls
Orphanage for Girls is a registered Child Care Institution. We have 30 girls, aged between 6 to 17 years.
Each is story of courage, hope and change. They have been rescued from a life of poverty and lack of access to education.
Seruds provides them a safe home-like environment, nutritious meals, education and medical care.
