Educate Girl Child Project
Seruds Project to “Educate Girl Child” was launched in 2010. This project will allow children to be bold to study well, self-reliant to achieve goals in their bright future.
Additionally, project mainly concentrates on Girl Child Education and Enrollment in schools. It provides bright future for all the deprived children.
These impoverished girls will be saved from child marriage, trafficking, and being forced to work as domestic servants.
This includes all the expenses of a girl’s education which be borne by SERUDS NGO through donations. Right from the school fees to the other expenses, all are paid by the donations collected under this cause.
Facts You Should Know about Girl Child Education in India
In India, nearly 40% of adolescent girls in the age group of 15-18 years are not attending school.
Around 30 percent of Girls from poorest families have never stepped inside the classroom and school surroundings.
India needs to spend 6% of its gross domestic product (GDP) on education, every national education policy (NEP) since 1968 has said.
In 2019-20, India spent only 3.1% of its GDP on education, the 2019-20 Economic Survey showed. India ranks 62nd in total public expenditure on education per student.

Every year, we distribute educational material kits to 500 underprivileged students. The education kit contains School bag, Long and Short Note Books, Dictionary, Shoes, Socks, Pencils, Erasers, Writing Pad, branded school uniforms, Sketch Pens, Geometry Box, Colour Pencils, etc.

Seruds Orphanage for Girls
Orphanage for Girls is a registered Child Care Institution. We have 30 girls, aged between 6 to 17 years.
Each is story of courage, hope and change. They have been rescued from a life of poverty and lack of access to education.
Seruds provides them a safe home-like environment, nutritious meals, education and medical care.
