Day Care Centers for Children

Construction and farm laborers do not have a safe place to leave their children when they are away from work. These children are vulnerable to malnutrition and lack access to education. We support 80 children, between the age of 1 year to 6 years, from slums and villages around Kurnool district in three creche or day care centers. The children are provided hot mid-day meals, snacks in evening, and pre-school education.

Most government schools have a poor quality infrastructure, and lack teachers. Children mired in poverty are forced to drop out of school and find ways to survive.
