Description
When Shantamma was 3 years old, mother succumbed to Tuberculosis. After her death, her father left them and married another woman. As a result, there was no one to take care of her.
A relative, Bhaskar, used to provide for her, but he was also having family and children. Bhaskar wife did not allow Shanthamma to stay in their home after she was 7 years old. Bhaskar admitted Shantamma through volunteer of SERUDS in Orphanage.
Since then SERUDS is taking care of all the needs of her. Now She is very happy since she goes to school, gets timely food, recreation facilities, and evening tuitions.
SERUDS Orphanage is providing food, education, shelter to her. She has a dream of becoming an IPS officer. She is very strong girl child and having confidence on her career.
