Description
Lokitha is currently in Lower KG class. Her father shiva shankar drinks a lot and uses all of his hard earned money for drinking and physically abuses sumitra’s mother. Her mother Eshwaramma works as a daily wage labourer and has to lift all the financial burden necessary to educate her 3 daughters. As she was not able to support her daughters with basic necessities she joined her daughter Lokitha and her sister Sumitra at SERUDS so that they can get education, food and the basic things.
Lokitha’s sister who is younger than her currently stays with her mother and does not even attend school. She is a very active kid at JOY Home and spreads smiles.
