Story:
My name is Nagalakshmamma. I am currently 68 years old. I got married when I was 20 years old. My husband is a farmer. We have a son and a daughter. We have own hut. My husband died of paralysis disease.
My son did not take care of me. My son-in-law also died. My daughter has a son and a daughter. So I went to live with my daughter. With my daughter’s meager earning, it was not possible to take care of expenses of her children and me, so it became harder for me to live with my daughter.
I was admitted in SERUDS old age home by my daughter. I have been living in old age home since four years.
I have severe knee pain due to arthritis. My daughter, grand son and granddaughter come to see me rarely. In old age home, I help out by cutting vegetables and help others.
