Description
Dandagalla Ramadevi joined Joy home SERUDS in 2012. She was admitted here by a pastor from her village Palkuru. Her mother Thimakka is mentally retarded and also has a broken leg because of which she could not take care of her 5 children. Her father Yelliah is the only earning member of family and financially supports the 7 member family. Ramadevi’s sisters finished their education in their village and got married. Since Ramadevi was really good at studies a pastor who stays in the same village recommended SERUDS home which could help her in her education.
She joined SERUDS when she was just 9 years old ; since then SERUDS has been taking care of her education, clothing, food etc., She likes to read Inspirational stories like about Vivekanada, books like Akbar, birbal etc., She likes sports and plays badminton frequently and got 2 gold medals and certificates. She paints really well and got many prizes for her paintings. She also teaches younger kids and spreads happiness among other kids who joins SERUDS. She never allows any of the other kids at SERUDS to be sad. She motivates them to be happy and teaches them to dance.
She is very grateful for the life she got at SERUDS. She studies very good and scored more than 80% in her degree 1st year and aspires to become Bank employee and wants to help more kids just like those in SERUDS
