Chinna Maddaiah used work in the mines as daily wage labour. Some times he used to go with the heavy truckers to drive a vehicle to one state to another state. During that time he got affected HIV /AIDS. He passed away with this dreadful disease. Mother Madhu Shankari also got affected HIV from her husband. Father was an asset to the family. Now the grandparents are also not allowing children and Madhu Shankari. Madhukrishna is active in studies. Village people are not allowing this family into their homes for any help/reason. Madhu Shankari attempted suicide two times. Because of seeing children she stopped her attempts towards suicide. Due to ill-health, the mother is forcing to send Madhukrishna to do any work to feed the family. But he is very much interested in studies, NCC, games. Community Coordinator identified this young boy and bought him to the Joy Home. The neighbour Rajeshwari & Elder mother Prameela with broadminded enquired about some homes and they find JoyHome is the best place to leave Madhukrishna.
As a growing boy understood about family and his mother is unable to work regularly with illness. She joined and continuing his education without any hurdles in the Joy Home. She said the organisers are really like gods because they are providing nutritious food, shelter and quality education, hygienic facilities, medical support from the Joy Home Children Orphanage through SERUDS Charity.
