Appeal for Give India

Dear Friends,
You may be aware that GiveIndia is an NGO that raises funds for the poorest of the poor in India by guiding donors donate money to trustworthy charities whom they list after screening for transparency and credibility. SERUDS is one such listed NGO.

GiveIndia has launched a program called “INDIA TAX SAVING CHALLENGE 2012” the India’s largest fund raising event. There is a competition in which the winning NGO (raising maximum fund) will receive additional matching fund from GiveIndia. They have plans to grant a total of 16 lacs for top 5 NGOs.

We have plans to use the funds raised to support construction of Building for orphans & street children in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh.

The donation can be as small as Rs.100 and we want you to be one of the best supporters of SERUDS. Please click on this link:

You will be taken to the GiveIndia site where SERUDS has set up an iGive page to accept donations. The site is secure and you can make a donation using credit card, net banking, my account, Paypal, Google checkout and cheque. The demand drafts and bank transfers are not accepted by GiveIndia. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive an e-receipt from GiveIndia which you can use for tax purposes.

In addition to your donation, you can do more by sharing this mail with your friends and family. People think of one’s birthday or anniversaries as suitable occasions to donate for these causes. If one can approach corporate bodies and convince their CEOs to spread the word, the employees may come forward to donate. This will get us more unique donors and lead us to win the competition. The last date to donate is March 22, 2012.

Thank you for your support
With best regards
G.Mallikarjuna
President
